Registration Checks
Wagga Safety and Registration Check

Making sure your car is roadworthy is imperative for not just your safety, but the safety of others on the road, that’s why in NSW you are required to ensure your car is safe before you can transfer registration to a new owner, or reregister your existing vehicle. Highway Image Australia provide full service safety and registration checks to make sure your vehicle is safe to be on the road and passes your registration requirements.

Get your safety check and eSafety (pink slip) from Highway Image

To check your vehicle is ready for registration you must first complete a safety check and be issued with a pink slip. Our team can provide safety checks for light and heavy vehicles and motorbikes. A safety check is relatively quick, taking approximately 30 – 40 minutes. If your car requires any work or repairs, our experienced team will talk you through the results and discuss your repair options.

We can handle all your Repair Report requirements

If your car fails its pink slip, you will be issued with a Repairs Needed report in accordance with NSW Roads and Maritime requirements. You then have 14 days to have the repairs done and your vehicle checked by the same mechanic that issued the Repairs Report. To make the process as easy as possible our team can book your car for repairs including both mechanical and electrical, so you can have the car on the road and ready for registration as soon as possible.

Who needs an eSafety check/Pink slip

Anyone wishing to re-register a car that is older than 5 years will need to complete a eSafety check and receive a pink slip prior to registering their vehicle. In addition, anyone wishing to transfer a car’s registration from interstate to NSW registration will also have to go through the full registration and eSafety check/pink slip process.

Rego status checks with High Image Australia

We can provide registration checks on existing vehicles to assess the following:
